jGallery is PHP-based photo album software for setting up a picture gallery on your website. After uploading the extracted package you can manage the content of the albums. JGallery creates thumbnails for you to improve picture browsing.

Release notes
What distinguishes jGallery2 from other image galleries is that it works like browsing through folders on your computer. The default theme is called Nautilus, because it is inspired by Nautilus, the file manager for the GNOME desktop.
Also, jGallery does not depend on a database installation which means easy installation. Dependent on the server settings you can have it running within a few minutes!

The basic principals:

• jGallery is lightweight viewable
• jGallery is highly cutomizable
• jGallery can be included in every website template

Since the first release of jGallery, there have been many requests for support and modifications. With the release of jGallery2 and this new (hopefully spam-free) website I hope to offer all jGallery users more comfort!

The most important updates since jGallery1.3.3 are;

• a new theming system and 2 great looking themes
• a installation wizzard
• thumbnail-caching
• caching of larger images
• a little popup-slideshows
